The Forza Horizon series has always been about the fun and excitement of having fast cars, great music and exploring exotic countries, but five big changes are coming to the franchise.
The Horizon Life:
Welcome to beautiful Britain. Why not stay a while? The creators of Forza Horizon 4 say this game won’t be about going on an amazing vacation, but about living that complete “Horizon Life.” You’ve lived on that open road long enough, it’s time to settle down and discover what exciting challenges you can find near home.
One Party To Rule Them All:
Driving from one party to another was awesome but that’s not what living the Horizon Life is all about. Unlike in previous Horizon games, this latest iteration will only have one festival to hit up. (Glastonbury anyone?) But that won’t mean there’s less to do. The game will still be packed with challenges and places to upgrade your ride.

Our House, in the middle of our street:
To show that you’re more about living that Horizon Life and not just the party life, Forza Horizon 4 has given you your own house. This is where you can update your car, gather with your friends before hitting the road or just chill. There will be five houses available across the game. Sadly, you can’t actually update your house — you can’t even enter it. This game is not a lifestyle Sim after all, it’s Forza and it’s all about the cars.
Four seasons in one month:
First there was going from day to night, then dynamic weather, now the Forza team is bringing you all four seasons. Each season will bring its own challenges and some will even unlock new areas of the map to explore. They will last one full week BUT if you create your own race in a specific season, that won’t change regardless of what the weather is like outside.

Ghosting isn’t just for online dating anymore:
Don’t you hate it when you’re playing online and someone comes out of nowhere and crashes into you? Well now you won’t have to worry. In Forza Horizon 4, other drivers will “ghost” through any potential collisions on the main roads to avoid impact. BUT if you’re playing with a group with friends, they’ll be allowed to be jerks and crash into you, cause that’s what friends are for. Drivatars are back too but will only be available when you’re playing offline.
